Dr  Esteban Serra received a Licenciate and PhD degree in Biochemistry from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina and a Diplôme d’Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches at Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille, Francia.

He presently serves as Dean of the School of Biochemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Associated Professor for the Department of Microbiology at the same Faculty and Staff Member (Principal Investigator) for the National Research Council (Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas – CONICET).
